We love the idea and the story, and we even visited the company headquarters in WA and saw the buoys. Trouble is it’s very capital intensive and any new technology needs time to succeed (It’s been years already so getting closer to end game), and there is no guarantee that your technology will be adopted and bought by governments or private enterprises.
Let’s not forget this is a grand idea – the utopia of renewable baseload power based on (recently expanded into solar, battery and hybrid engineering, construction and maintenance) wave power. At the last stage (before commercialisation) of developing CETO 6, can they then translate (if successful) into contracts?
Loads of interest both in Australia and overseas but patience is required.
